In this Science Update, students explore how entering puberty and experiencing a growth spurt makes some adolescents clumsy. Science NetLinks provides a link to the audio file, a written transcript, and questions that engage students in a discussion about how self-consciousness sometimes interferes with the ability to perform physical tasks.
