A lesson plan for grades 6–8 Science
In this Science Update, students explore a recent study that looks to finger length for signs of a man’s pre-natal exposure to testosterone. Science NetLinks provides a link to the audio file, a written transcript, and questions that engage students in a discussion about the difference between the finger lengths of males and females and the possibility that finger length is relative to aggression. The lesson plan also provides links to the Psychology Today article “Autism: What’s Sex Got to Do With It?” and Nova Online’s “The Odyssey of Life.”
