The National Wildlife Federation is the nation’s largest member-supported conservation group, uniting individuals, organizations, businesses and government to protect wildlife, wild places, and the environment.
This site contains a wildlife gallery with images and facts about birds, mammals, fish, reptiles and amphibians, and insects. Each month a different species is highlighted. Past features include migratory birds, endangered species, global warming, Alaska, and Yellowstone.
“In Your Yard,” learn how to make a habitat for birds and animals. Sign up for the wildlife newsletter and get information on the birds, mammals, insects, and wildflowers in local areas. Some of the animals have sound clips of the callsthat they make.
