Inflation Conversion Factors for Dollars 1774 to Estimated 2018

This site from Robert Sahr at Oregon State University provides tables of Consumer Price Index (CPI) inflation conversion factors to convert to 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001, 2000, 1999, 1998, 1997, 1996, 1995, and CPI (1982-1984) dollars for all years since 1774. Beginning with the 2008 revision they used a new set of underlying price-level data to produce inflation conversion factors for years prior to 1913. Conversion factors for years before 1913 are re-based from data from the Historical Statistics of the United States Millennial Edition (Cambridge University Press, 2006 As part of this change, the conversion factors begin 1774 instead of 1665, as with the earlier underlying price level data. In addition, it has graphs showing historical trends of price levels, movie prices, millionaires, government spending, debt and deficits, election costs, minimum wages, congressional pay, and various other interesting items.
