This site offers an easy way to sift through census data by state or county from 1790 to 1960. The data can be viewed as text or graphically. The data displayed on this site were initially created by the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR). This site is intended to aid in browsing these data files, but it is not intended as a tool for downloading data for further research or more involved manipulation.
