In this unit from EDSITEment, students learn about families in various Spanish cultures and gain a preliminary knowledge of the Spanish language, learning the Spanish names for various family members. After completing the lessons in this unit, students will be able to locate Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries on a map of the world and describe similarities and differences between family life in America and family life in Spain, Puerto Rico, and Mexico.
