In this Xpeditions lesson, students become hands-on scientists and explore the physical and biological world around them. Activities in this lesson engage students in whole class discussion, online learning, and hands-on experiments.

Students will:

  • discuss exploration;
  • perform an in-depth exploration of their schoolyard; and
  • discuss ways they can be hands-on Everyday Explorers year round; and
  • demonstrate an appreciation for some of Asia's great works of art.

Xpeditions provides detailed directions for completing the lesson, suggestions for assessment and extension activities, discussion questions, and links to helpful web resources.
