A lesson plan for Grade 5 Social Studies
In this lesson, students explore characteristics of traditional and modern rituals found in different cultures. Activities in this lesson engage students in collaborative group work, development of media literacy skills, and online learning.
Students will:
- list characteristics of rituals;
- identify examples of these characteristics in the rituals of various cultures and traditions; and
- identify examples of rituals in modern American life.
