In this lesson, the third in the EDSITEment curriculum unit titled “What Happens at the White House?” students create a History of the White House timeline featuring historic events researched in the previous lesson. In addition, they discuss the reasons why the White House is sometimes called “America's House.” This lesson incorporates primary source material from EDSITEment-reviewed websites.
