In this lesson, the third of a three-part series from Illuminations titled “Spatial Reasoning Using Cubes and Isometric Drawings Part Three: Other 2D Representations—Front-Right-Top,” students explore polyhedra using different representations and perspectives for three dimensional block figures. Using interactive Java applets, they compare isometric drawing with another type of representation — a mat plan.
