A lesson plan for Grades 6–8 Mathematics
In this lesson, the second in a two-part series from Illuminations titled “Spatial Reasoning Using Cubes and Isometric Drawings: Part One—Exploring the Isometric Drawing Tool,” students explore polyhedra using different representations and perspectives for three dimensional block figures. Students use interactive Java applets to explore various shapes of their own creation.
