This Science NetLinks lesson is the last of a sequence of five lessons, teaching students the ecological advantages or urban living. Students will learn about the concept of an ecological footprint and brainstorm the qualities and characteristics of what they might consider an excellent, livable community. The class will then create an oversized wall map of their local environment, decoerated with a border of colorful footprints.
