STUDENT TRANSLATION EXAMPLE

Romeo: I never felt a true wound until I met Juliet. Juliet sparks up the night like fireworks on the Fourth of July. She's the smoke from the chimney when she burns wood. I don't care what others say she's my woman, so cast them off. I don't care what others say it's my true and tried, beautiful lady! Speak to me my vidalia, speak to me. See how she picks the corn cob out of her teeth, oh how I wish I were that corn cob.

Juliet: Well I be dagone!

Romeo: Speak again my hillbilly tulip!

Juliet: Oh Romeo, oh Romeo, why do you have to be a doggone Montague? I'll no longer be a Capulet, what is the point in a name anyway? A name is like a box of chocolates, who care's what inside?

Romeo: I'll be anybody you want me to be.

Juliet: Who's in my yard? Could it be that fine, hunk of man, Romeo?

Romeo: If I could change my name, you luscious piece of candy, I would.

Juliet: If the guards catch you they will kill you.

Romeo: I don't care about those hooligans! Nothing could come between my love  for you.

Juliet: Do you love me? Although I'm hesitant to exchange vows,  I will take your word of love. But do not swear,  say it for yourself.

Romeo: Don't leave me unsatisfied baby, I ain't done yet. Let's make a vow.

Juliet: You already heard me confess my love while you were squirming' in the hedge!

Romeo: All that must show you  how I feel about you darlin'! 

Juliet: Goodnight, my honeybun! Send me word so I can come to you.  NURSE. Hey Romeo! What time are we gonna get hitched tomorrow baby?

Romeo: I'll send for you at 9 o'clock.

Juliet: I'll be there if I have to swim across the Nile River.

Romeo: Sleep peacefully, my love. I'll see you in the morning.
