Assessment: Write a book review of WALK TWO MOONS.  

Level 4- Superior Performance
Using writing skills that displayed thoughtful and thorough content,
students produced a book review rich in description and detail.

Level 3 - Proficient Performance
Using writing skills that displayed clear and complete ideas, students 
produced a book review with an effective amount of description and 
detail.

Level 2 - Adequate Performance
Using writing skills that only displayed a superficial understanding, 
the students produced a book review with only a minimal amount of 
description and detail.

Level 1 - Limited Performance
Using a minimal grasp of writing skills that may have displayed 
unconnected ideas, students produced a book review that only included a 
bare minimum of detail or may have been less than the seven requested 
paragraphs.
