The deck of the Mayflower II in Plymouth, MA

Size: 1024×690

The deck of the Mayflower II in Plymouth, Massachusetts. The Mayflower II is a replica of the original Mayflower ship used to transport the Pilgrims to the New World, located near Plimouth Plantation, a living museum in Plymouth, Massachusetts. It was built in 1956 in Devon, England, using the original ship’s blueprints and traditional English shipbuilding techniques. In 1957, Alan Villiers sailed the ship across the Atlantic, recreating the original Mayflower voyage.
