High winds and blowing snow makes climbing the Lhotse Face of Mount Everest extremely difficult.

Five mountain climbers rappel down Lhotse Face as they leave Camp 3 in a storm. They hang on to the guide rope as high winds and blowing ice crystals swirl around them. Only the lead climber can be seen fully, his head down as he clings to the rope.
