Dawn is breaking as Ciprian “Chip” Popoviciu stands on the snow capped summit of Mount Everest at 29,029ft. Prayer flags are draped in the snow given by climbers in thanks for reaching the summit. Chip is wearing the headlamp he used to climb through the night. An oxygen bottle can be seen in the bottom right corner while the Himalayan range is peaking through a sea of clouds behind him.
