Though the music and the sound might make you think that you are in a club in the United States, this band was recorded in a club in Thailand. Western music (like rock, pop, and rap) is enjoyed all over the world. A traveler can hear it on the radio coming out of homes and cars, or live, in clubs like this one.
This club is located in Chiang Mai, a highly frequented tourist destination in northern Thailand. Tourists visit the small mountain town for a variety of adventures, including rain forest treks, elephant rides, experiencing hill tribe culture, and taking Thai cooking and Thai massage classes (which is what I did there.) Clubs like this one can be popular destinations for tourists who are drawn to the familiar music and surroundings.
