Hanuman flies carrying Ravana's soul container and golden bow (Thai Ramayana mural)

Sizes available: 1024×683 | 600×400

Hanuman flies back to Rama carrying Ravana’s soul container, as depicted on a mural at the Emerald Buddha Temple.

Moving horizontally through the air to the left, a grinning Hanuman dressed in Siamese royal clothes holds the small wooden cylinder with conical metal ends in his right hand.

Hanuman holds out the prized cylinder containing Ravana’s soul in front of his head as he flies. With his other hand, Hanuman holds his golden bow high above his head.

Hanuman’s legs are bent and his feet flexed as if he is running through the air. His left toes point, upward while his right toes point to the ground.

A boulder and dark green vegetation are visible in the lower right.
