Two women fold large nylon fishing nets

Size: 686×1024

At the end of the day, two mature women on Kuta Beach untangle and fold large nylon fishing nets. They likely are working as a team with their fishermen husbands or other relatives.

The woman at the left wears a blue dress and a green cloth wrapped around the top of her head. The woman on the right wears a machine made but traditional design purple Balinese cloth wrapped around her waist as a long skirt. She wears a second brown Indonesian cloth wrapped around her shoulders over a long-sleeved oink knit shirt. Both women are concentrating on their tasks as small waves roll to shore behind them.
