Ripe rice plants growing in fields just before harvest

Ripe rice plants are growing in the fields just before harvest. The clusters or panacles of ripe grain are so heavy that they hang over at the top of the plant. As rice plants approach their ideal time of harvest, the plants and grain clusters turn a golden yellow.
