Four Balinese girls performing a welcome dance in gold costumes

Sizes available: 1024×686 | 600×402

Four Balinese girls performing a welcome dance in gold costumes hold their right arms raised. In their left hands they hold decorated offering bowls whose flowery contents they toss as a kind of cheerful blessing to the audience and forthcoming events.

The girls all wear golden crown headdresses, tight gold and yellow sleeveless bodices, and gold-threaded wrapped skirts striped with pale green and pink stripes. As with all Indonesian dances, they dance barefoot using carefully controlled leg, arm, and facial movements.
