Soccer (or “football”) is indeed a worldwide sport. A match between two local Malaysian towns filled the local stadium in Khota Bahru. In Malaysia, the football audience is almost entirely male. I definitely stood out as the only white female there.
Listen to the crowd cheering for their team in English (even though English is not the official language of the country.)
