Machapuchare and Annnapurna II mountain peaks seen from Pokhara, Nepal

Size: 1024×675

The Annapurna region of the Himalaya mountain range is a series of peaks including Annapurna II and Machapuchare, which is famous for its fish-tail shape. Annapurna is a popular climbing destination, while Machapuchare is still among the unclimbed peaks in the Himalayas. Climbing and trekking contribute to the tourism-based economy in and around the city of Pokhara.
