A mountain acorn valley with a foot trail flanked by rice fields

Size: 1024×675

Two tourists are trekking through a mountain valley flanked by rice fields. Peepal trees can be seen on the right side of the picture — these trees are commonly grown near resting platforms along the pathways for shade.

Notice that the houses in the background have corrugated iron roofs, which are a recent construction development in the mountains of Nepal where houses used to be roofed with thatches.
