Birethanti bazaar, seen from a nearby mountaintop, lies at the foot of a mountain by a cascading river. Mountain pathways meander along the riverside past the bazaar. To the right, a few thatched houses stand on the green hill, surrounded by terraced rice fields.
Birethanti bazaar is one of the important bazaars along a major trekking route in the western mountains of Nepal.
