underside of gray treefrog with yellow coloration visible on legs

Size: 410×512

This gray treefrog was identified as a Cope’s gray treefrog (Hyla chrysoscelis), but this species of treefrog is identical in appearance to the Eastern gray treefrog (Hyla versicolor). Both species have yellow-orange dorsal skin on their hind legs, which is clearly visible in this photograph.
