Food preservation demonstration

Size: 445×768

Posing behind a table of canned fruits and vegetables, a 4-H club girl is ready to perform a food preservation demonstration. This black and white photograph was taken outside near some buildings. The young girl is wearing a plain, white short-sleeved dress with dark stockings and shoes and her hair is pulled back in a bun. Her right hand is placed on the back of the table. On top of the one-drawer table and to the left is a large metal pressure cooker. The lid to the cooker is next to it. 6 glass jars sit on the right on top of a book. More glass containers which are filled with fruit sit on a shelf below.
