Display explaining bedding made from locally grown materials

Size: 768×549

This black and white photograph of an extension booth shows an exhibit of bedding made from locally grown materials in 1940. The back of the booth has the word “Extension” in large, bold, letters. Hanging beneath it is a homemade quilt with the title, “Bedding made from home grown cotton.” There are three tables in the booth. The table on the left has labeled examples of mattress pads, pillow protectors, spring covers, and a blanket protector. The sign on the table reads, “Protect you bedding, mattress, pillows, and springs.” The center table has a finished mattress and is labeled as such. At the table on the right, two women, wearing hats, coats, and gloves, are looking at a bedspread which is being held by an elderly woman with glasses.
