a family of six, including a grandfather, sit in the dining room eating a meal together

Size: 1536×1150

In this black and white photograph, a family is seated at a round wooden dining table eating a meal. The family consists of a mother, father, two daughters, a son, and an older man who is probably the grandfather.

Both of the men wear suits. The mother wears striped dress with a round collar and a bow. All of the adults are looking toward the littlest girl who is just a toddler and sitting in a high chair. Her hair is a mass of curls compared to her older sister’s, which is cut straight in a page-boy right at her ears. She is about four and looks toward her brother who is looking sulkily off into the distance.

The dining room is nicely, if sparsely, furnished with hardwood pieces. A floral paper covers the wall, which has dark wood doors on both the right and left.
