Camel in a town between Jaipur, India, and Agra, India

Size: 1024×661

A camel stands with his nose in the air in a town between Jaipur, India, and Agra, India. He is hitched to a small cart with large rubber tires. There are bits of cloth tied around his halter and his neck. A sort of saddle made of wooden slats, probably used to tie bundles to the camel, is draped on the camel’s hump. On the ground to the camel’s left are several labeled cardboard boxes, a couple of slender metal tanks, and a few medium-sized bundles. A blue and orange box truck is parked to the camel’s left. Behind it is a building plastered with advertisements for food and Castrol motor oil. Four men are working in the background, and a boy walks near the camel.
