Rock formations on the Window Trail in the Chisos Basin area.

Rocks along the Window Trail in the Chisos Basin area of Big Bend National Park were made from volcanic activity over 32 million years ago. These rocks have a turquoise bluish tint to them. Their folds create a stair-step effect.
