Anasazi ruins in the White House area of Canyon De Chelly National Monument.

Size: 1024×687

The White House ruins are some of the oldest in Canyon De Chelly dating from 1200 CE. This photograph shows the ruins of an Anasazi village built at the base of the canyon and at the entrance to a cave higher in the cliff side. A fence has been built around the ruins to protect it from tourists.
