Alternating stripes of color can be seen in the sedimentary rock formations along the Chesler Park Trail.

Size: 1024×682

Formed over millions of years, these rock formations show the layers of sediment that were laid down and later became rock. The layers’ colors are in tans, red, gray, and black. In the foreground, chips of stone line the trail while in the background the rock formations are smooth from erosion.
