Bushes survive among the rocks along the Chesler Park Trail in Canyonlands National Park, Utah.

Size: 1024×682

This photograph shows how erosion has carved the sedimentary rock over millions of years. The boulder in the foreground is breaking down and chips of rock litter the ground next to it. The rocks in the background have perfectly straight horizontal cracks running across the length of it. In the foreground next to the boulder, are bushes surviving among the rocks.
