This is glass art by North Carolina artist Harvey Littleton. The piece is called “Lemon/Red Crown” and is shown here displayed in the Milwaukee Art Museum. Littleton is a founder of the Studio Glass Movement that emphasizes the glass artist as a creator of individual and unique art objects, as opposed to functional pieces. He is also a North Carolina Living Treasure. He lives in Mitchell County and gives talks around the country.
