This is the view from Nantahala National Forest. The forest spans from Waynesville, North Carolina, to Murphy, North Carolina and was established in 1920. The forest protects a variety of trees, woodland plants, and animals, some of which are endangered. The area offers good hiking, camping, backpacking, trout fishing and picnicking.
