This is the kitchen of the Bennett Place in Durham, North Carolina. A Civil War reenactor explains the food she has made. Bennett Place was the site where General Joseph E. Johnston and General William T. Sherman met to negotiate to the largest troop surrender of the Civil War in April 1865.
