A foggy service road in Nantahala National Forest

This is a foggy service road in Nantahala National Forest in Cherokee County, North Carolina. The forest spans from Waynesville, North Carolina, to Murphy, North Carolina and was established in 1920. The forest protects a variety of trees, woodland plants, and animals, some of which are endangered. The area offers good hiking, camping, backpacking, trout fishing and picnicking.
