Eastern 4-H Environmental Education Center
Located a few miles outside Columbia, North Carolina, the center provides programming dealing with ecology, ecosystems, and animals and their habitats to area school groups.
The pocosin forests, broad bays, estuaries, creeks, wetlands and shores around the Eastern 4-H Environmental Education Center provide an optimal outdoor learning area for environmental education. Programs include: Southeastern Forest Ecology, Eastern North Carolina Mammals and Birds, Reptiles and Amphibians, Wetland Ecology, Marine Estuary Ecology, and Outdoor Skills.
