The mission of EnergyXchange is to demonstrate the responsible use of landfill gas as an energy source for small enterprise in craft and horticulture, and to meet local energy needs. They offer special programs for schools which include topics related to landfill gas-to-energy projects, renewable energy, waste reduction, and recycling. The visitor center provides information for the visitor and a kiosk where one can take a virtual tour of the facilities.
