The Pisgah National Forest features some of the most beautiful and rugged mountain scenery in eastern North America. It is a large forest that covers much of the north and central western mountains of NC. The area has waterfalls, wildlife, and historical areas.

The Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education is located in Pisgah Forest. Its programs and exhibits focus on the wildlife and habitats of North Carolina’s Mountain region. Group programs can be arranged for groups of 10 or more. These programs generally last 1 1/2 to 2 hours, and they are designed for specific age ranges.
