This educational center offers environmental education programs in the Spring and Fall. Students in the 2nd through 6th grades take part in hands-on environmental science, living history and outdoor exploration. Programs can last for one, two or three days and include day programs on such topics as aquatics, geology, pioneer living, reptiles and forestry. All classes are designed to complement classroom teaching as well as North Carolina’s social science and science education goals. Phone 336-349-9445 for more information.
