Border Belt Farmers Museum

Find out why tobacco is still king in North Carolina. Early tobacco warehouses and farming equipment are on display in this converted Atlantic Coastline Railway Depot. Learn about the early years of other Lumberton, North Carolina industries such as railway, timber, and turpentine.
The museum, located in back of the post office, is open Monday through Thursday, 1 pm -5 pm and admission is free. Call 910-628-9216 for information and to arrange for a tour.
