East Carolina Village of Yesteryear
The museum displays depict one hundred years of North Carolina history. With nineteen buildings, and over two thousand artifacts, the village promotes NC life from 1840 to 1940.

The East Carolina Village of Yesteryear depicts life in Pitt County and Eastern North Carolina from 1840 to 1940. A country store with its wares, a traditional school house, a log church, farm machinery, and other artifacts from the period spark the interest of all who visit.
