The Planetarium is able to serve as a “time machine”, capable of taking the most casual observer on a celestial adventure into the past or the future, as well as providing a view of the sky from anywhere in the world. Housed in the Jimmy R. Jenkins Science Center, the ECSU Planetarium is located at the intersection of Hoffler Street and Southern Avenue in Elizabeth City. Admission is FREE and shows are by RESERVATION ONLY. The Planetarium accepts reservations for groups of twenty (20) or more.
