Battleship North Carolina is the website for this historical battleship located in Wilmington, North Carolina.

There are six primary sections that you see on the navigation bar of the Battleship site. The most relevant for students and teachers are discussed here.

  • Lucky Bag - in Navy tradition, the Lucky Bag is a storage aboard ship for lost and found items but on the Battleship site it refers to all information that doesn’t fit into the other specific sections. The Lucky Bag covers who we are, descriptions of our affiliate organizations, and other information such as the Proceedings from the 6th Maritime Heritage Conference held in Wilmington in October 2001.
  • History - history and heritage of the Battleship NORTH CAROLINA as well as information on all ships named for the State of North Carolina.
  • Kids - games and activities for kids of all ages.
  • Teachers - lesson guides and activities to support State of North Carolina curriculum requirements for K - 12. There is also a field trip guide.
