The Carolina Raptor Center is dedicated to environmental education and the conservation of birds of prey through public education, the rehabilitation of injured and orphaned raptors, and research.

On this organization’s website, students and teachers will find answers to their raptor questions, in-depth information about and photos of over twenty raptor species (the species includes owl, eagles, vultures, and more!), and a huge variety of raptor activities and games such as crossword puzzles, quizzes, and coloring pages.

When visiting the Raptor Center, students can walk along a nature trail, observe raptors in their aviaries, and talk to the Wild Wing Educators. Call Blanche at 704-875-6521 ext. 100 to book a tour.
