This nature center offers hands-on science activities, meeting room, and guided tours for large groups. The facility includes the Neuseway Planetarium and Health and Science Museum. The planetarium’s 32 foot dome and projector projects star patterns, constellations and video shows. It also has an observation deck with a telescope. The Health and Science Museum has "hands on exhibits, a butterfly garden, a miniature replica of Lenoir Memorial Hospital, computers and a giant bubble machine." Students will be fascinated with the cave and its live exhibits which focus on the Neuse River.

The Neuseway Nature Center is located at 401 W. Caswell Street in Kinston. The museum hours are: Tuesday - Saturday 9:30 am - 5:00 pm, Sunday - 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. Call 252-939-3367 for more information and to reserve a spot for your group.
