Blandwood, home of former North Carolina Governor John Motley Morehead, is a treasure of architectural and historical significance located in the heart of downtown Greensboro. The mansion is a National Historic Landmark and is the oldest example of Italian villa architecture in the United States. It is operated as a house museum by Preservation Greensboro, Inc. and the Blandwood Guild.
